Cobetter Mixed Cellulose Esters (MCE) filter membrane is an unsupported, hydrophilic membrane, composed of inert cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate polymers. It’s one of the most widely used membranes in analytical and research applications.
MCE membrane filter is characterized by a smoother and more uniform surface than pure nitrocellulose (NC) filter, thus providing superior flow rates. With biologically inert property, it’s ideal for a wide range of sterilization, clarification, and analytical applications, including sterilization and clarification of aqueous solutions, microbiological analysis, industrial hygiene applications, particulate-matter analysis, etc.
Withstand autoclaving temperatures up to 130°C without adversely affecting bubble point, flow rate or microbiological recovery.
